- 1 beautiful marbled prime rib of 1.2 kg
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 c. tablespoons olive oil
- 4 sprigs fresh thyme
- sea salt
- cracked black pepper
Preheat the oven. 6-7 / 200 °. Choose a nice prime rib of choice, preferably a fairly bold animal. Prick garlic and rub it with fresh thyme.
Heat the frying pan with olive oil. Enter the rib of beef over high heat on each side.
Place it on the pan from the oven and bake it 15 minutes flipping every 3 min and watering it with her juices. Remove the prime rib and let stand about 10 minutes under a foil.
Serve the prime rib on a hot plate. Sprinkle with sea salt and cracked pepper.
